We had a great stay! The place was exactly as described, and perfect for our girls trip. The location is amazing- right on Lake Huron with a private beach in the backyard! The four of us had plenty of space, and enjoyed the many options for seating/lounging areas. Even with chilly weather, we loved the beautiful view out the windows in the sun room. It was the perfect space for watercolor painting and puzzling! We would love to return and use more of the outdoor amenities when the weather is better! It was a short drive to Tawas, and we enjoyed exploring coffee shops, antiquing, and visiting the craft market nearby. Thanks for letting us use this great space!

This is a great place to stay. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and charming. Karen is a great host. Totally responsive and beyond helpful. The sunrise is worth getting up at 6 am.

This was the best Airbnb stay I have had in years. The location is perfect, right on the Lake, and the house is just as described. The beds were comfy, kitchen had all the utensils to make our meals (bring your own spices), and the shower water was hot. My mom uses a walker and she had no issue getting down the path and into the house, with assistance. The house was easy for her to navigate.
The guestbook has useful info about the house, like the heating system, so pay attention to that. If you like waking up and falling asleep to the sound waves, this house is for you.
looking for souvenirs- hit up Mooney's Ben Franklin store in Tawas or Cathy's Hallmark Store in Oscoda.

My best friend and I stayed for a birthday weekend and we had the most relaxing and peaceful time. Loved the view and the fire pit. Karen was extremely helpful!

Decided to getaway for a peaceful retreat, I couldn’t be more happier with this beautiful beach rental!! Nick & Karen were great in communication and made things seamless! Views were beautiful, close to town, beautiful layout and a comfortable bed! Even got to see a couple of Eagles on the beach right in front of the house!! Would definitely recommend and will be back!!

Nick and Karen’s cottage was clean, quiet, comfortable and cozy. The view of Lake Huron from the cottage was awesome. Beautiful sunrises, breathtaking full moonrises. A wonderful escape from the busy city.

We had a group of 9. There was plenty of room for all of us to sleep, eat together, and play yard games. Short walk to the beach and a nice little coffee shop across the street.

I am more than happy to write a review for this house. We had a great time. Walking in the door, right away you could just relax. Everything was clean. Every room was well stocked with easy to find items. The house was spacious even for my large family. The beds were all comfortable. Each room had large closet space to hang clothes and put away luggage. The location was ideal with the beach just behind you and a cute coffee shop across the street. The owners were very sweet and extremely helpful with any questions. I look forward to staying here next year.
